The Heartland Naturists believe in Community involvement. We look for ways to help the community, while recognizing that many people have misconceptions about nudism/naturism. We select those charities that we believe will appreciate our help.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
On Friday, November 22, 2013, the Heartland Naturists had a nude game night and a "Clothes Off Our Backs" clothing drive to benefit the Disabled American Veterans via the Red Racks Thrift Store. We collected 13 large bags and 3 boxes of clothing that was delivered on Saturday, November 23rd. These clothing items were greatly appreciated and will go to help disabled veterans in the Kansas City area.

National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)
On October 18, 2013, the Heartland Naturists held a benefit skinny dip to raise awareness and money for breast cancer prevention and research. Women swam free for the event and donations made were passed along to the NBCF. They thanked us for our $120 contribution in a letter.
